This second new Fortress sheet covers two planes that are in OD over Neutral Grey. Both are B-17Fs so that means either the Revell kit or the Monogram B-17G with various aftermarket bits to back date it to an F.

First up is 'My Devotion' from the 510 BS/351 BG and named after a popular song of the time. Other than a pretty respectable mission tally, there are no other outstanding markings.

The other is 'Fort Alamo II' from the 840 BS/483 BG. It has a bit of color in its red rudder, elevators and prop hubs. This plane was operating so early in the war that it has not received the usual code letters.

As a bit of a whine, Aeromaster is using some pretty dark backgrounds on some of its new instruction sheets that makes it very difficult to read what is printed over them.
