Aeromaster 48-656: Yellow Nose Mustangs pt 2

Units: 361 FG

Scott Van Aken

Since most good things come in pairs, here is a second sheet on the 361 FG. These are also basically bare metal aircraft and the Tamiya kit is the one recommended. There are insignia for all, ID markings and data for two.

First up is 'Gay Crusader' as flown by Lt. Homer Power. It has a black anti-glare panel and canopy frame with a yellow rudder and wing tips.

'Pegasis' is the aircraft of Capt. Walter Kozicki. His E9*P has a yellow rudder, wing tips and canopy frame. As with all the 361st planes, the nose and spinner is in yellow as well.

Finally, a rather famous 361st plane, E2*C,  Lou IV. JJ.Christian's plane has often been pictured at having a light blue upper surface camo, but Aeromaster firmly believes that it really should be Olive Drab. They provide two different right nose name colors as they are unsure if it should be in red or black.

Another fine sheet with a nice selection of subjects.
