Here is the second volume of 'Luftwaffe im Focus', a German/English softcover book/magazine that concentrates on aircraft and men of the Luftwaffe. What makes it special is that the vast majority of photographs are published here for the first time. And it is photographs that make this stand out from other titles on the subject. The images are large and very clear, with a few in color. All are period shots and new in this edition are some color profiles.

This issue carries a potpourri of subjects from training and transport aircraft, to fighters and bombers as well as sections on night fighters and destroyers, to name just a few. There are also sections entitled 'pictures with a story' on glider missions during the opening phases of the invasion of Yugoslavia, 'planes in focus' on Bf-109F 'yellow 10', and another on the 109E-4 of Walter Oesau of JG 51, as well as a look at a pilot, Gustav Sprick of JG 26.

There is much more that I haven't covered. Each page has new and interesting images and photographs that are sure to be of interest to those with an interest in the Luftwaffe. It is one that I can highly recommend.
