Somehow we missed #15, but not a problem as Luftwaffe im Focus #16 has arrived. This is another fine edition and even more so considering the difficulty of finding new photos on the subject. As usual, there are a number of interesting articles in this issue, including photos of Italian aircraft on the Channel Coast, a look at an Ar-196, photos of Bf-109 and 110 aircraft, a nice color photo of a Ju-88 and a look at the Me-262 production line in a forest, also with several color photos.
There is also a pilot story about a Stuka pilot with over 900 missions, and the real treat in this edition from my perspective on FW-190A aircraft with 21 cm rockets and snake motifs on the fuselage. This is not all, of course, as I don't want to give away all of the goodies that are included within.
As always, the large A4 format allow for some superb and large photographs, something I know we all have come to appreciate. Like the earlier LIF books, this one is dual English/German and contains not only some rare period color photos, but a lot of previously unpublished images from a number of sources. There is delight in every page, making this book one that you simply have to get.
