NOTES:

RT 44/4 arrived just after the start of MM's end of year break. This edition carries on the excellence of previous ones with four nicely done build articles and one informational piece. I like these info pieces as I think they add to the reading experience.

First up is a very nice 1/72 Vampire F.3 converted from the Heller 1/72 SNCASE S.E. 535 Mistral. Alex Bernardo did a lot of work on this one to make a 442 Squadron aircraft.

Second offering is Bob Steinbrunn's nicely built Wingnut Wings 1/32 de Havilland DH.2. WNW kits are always impressive and this one even more so due to all the rigging requited.

Then we get to the info article. This time it is on the Jerrycan. The article covers the salient features of the original German version as well as the British and American. I have a post war US version in my garage that my father bought when we were stationed at Wheelis AFB in Libya.

Next up is Frank Cudden's build of the Minicraft 1/144 Lockheed Electra. Frank has chosen the Braniff scheme for his plane. As a note, it appears Minicraft is no longer a going concern so it might be worth picking up this kit if one plans on building it in the near future.

Finally, we have Barry Maddin's Tamiya 1/72 Vosper MBT. Frank also provides an interesting how-to on making a water base for his boat.

Another fine edition and one I look forward to every quarter. So, you are wondering, just how do I get this great club magazine. Well, it is simple. Just trade uncolorful money for full color magazines. IPMS Canada is a great group of people so you will be in very good company. Can't get much better than that.

But wait, there is more. If you join, you also get the electronic Beaver Tales delivered straight to your computer, and you can get the periodic decal sheets that are only provided to members.
