Random Thoughts 43/3
BY: IPMS Canada
REVIEWER: Scott Van Aken - IPMS Canada #5729

The Fall edition of Random Thoughts arrived the other day. As usual, I was eager to read the variety of articles included within and this one did not disappoint. This edition had a nice editorial, but none of the other usual preliminary articles. Within I found four build articles and an interesting 'how to' that I'll have to try one of these days.

First up is a very well done 'Indian Wars' diorama with six figures and a couple of horses using Masterbox figures. Barry Maddin has done a lot of work on this one and it looks just great.

Next is a nice 'how to' article from Glenn Cauley. Glenn shows us how to do pitted chrome and it is quite realistic.

The second build is Richard Clairoux' 1/48 HobbyBoss YF-23. Richard has done his homework in researching this and it very much shows his efforts.

Frank Cuden does some major work to improve the Pioneer 1/72 Expeditor (C-45), to take advantage of one of the recent IPMS Canada decal sheets to do a post-war aircraft.

Finally, armor friends have not been left out as Frank Donati presents his Trumpeter 1/35 Hetzer. Again, the kit has been well researched and nicely detailed.

Another fine edition and one I look forward to every quarter. So, you are wondering, just how do I get this great club magazine. Well, it is simple. Just trade uncolorful money for full color magazines. IPMS Canada is a great group of people so you will be in very good company. Can't get much better than that, eh?

But wait, there is more. If you join, you also get the electronic Beaver Tales delivered straight to your computer, and you can get the periodic decal sheets that are only provided to members.
