I'd like to start out by saying I'm not a tread-head, but I do find the genre to be quite interesting. The truth about our hobby is that while most of us will build a number of different subjects, we really can only be well knowledgeable about a single segment of it. For some it is aircraft, or cars, or figures, or ships, or military vehicles.

MMiR is dedicated to that last segment and is published quarterly. This is its annual "what's coming" edition and so considerable space is provided with that in mind. There are also some superb articles such as a build of the Dragon Tiger I, a guide to .50 caliber US gun mounts, a comparison build on Panzer Is by Italeri and Dragon, a T-34 build using the Trumpeter 1/16 kit, a Panzer IV D build using the Tristar kit, and a building of a VK3601, which looks like a turretless tank to me.

All of the articles are well written and provide a plethora of 'in work' images. Just the sort of thing that most modelers love to see. If you are into tanks, then you really should be getting this magazine.
