In case some of you do not realize it, Mushroom Models Publications offers a series of scale plans to go along with several of their books. This one is for the Hurricane II, Hurricane IV and the Sea Hurricane. This set is typical of those plans and in this case offers them in 1/72, 1/48, and 1/32 scale. Something I like about these plan sets is that the cover of them is slightly wider than the plans themselves. This helps to keep the folded areas from being damaged and is a thoughtful touch.

The book itself contain 12 large fold out pages that provide profiles of every sub-variant of the Hurricane I and this includes the variations of the prototype. The Hurricane is somewhat unique in that the airframe changed very little from the metal wing Hurricane I until the end of production. Once the pages are unfolded, you get a 11 3/4 by 16 1/2 inch page that shows every detail, including upper and lower views of the main types.  The drawings are superbly done by the author and should prove to be a real help to those who like plan sets when they are working on building models.
