For their fourth volume, MMP's Color & Scale provides this nice on the Bf-109G. The 109 was one of the more widely used fighters by the Finnish Air Force during WWII, as much as a 'reward' for helping the fighting against the Soviets as anything else. Initial batches of the Bf-109 were of the G-2 variant with the majority being the G-6 version. The G-6 came in a variety of fits with some having the Erla canopy, some the taller wooden fin, some with both, and some with original versions. It wasn't until the end of the war that the 109s were painted in the standard Finnish war scheme of green/black/light blue so all the ones in this book are in standard Luftwaffe scheme of RLM 74/75/76 with the usual eastern front yellow parts.
The plans section provides side views of the G-2 and standard G-6 along with upper and lower drawings in 1/72. In 1/48 variants are shown in side view along with an full upper and lower view. This is due to the relatively small size of the 109 as anything else. These are in half the book. The other half comprises full color profiles of various aircraft of the time in a scale that is larger than 1/48, allowing two profiles per page in a vertical format. There is one full color plan image included. The last page is an explanation of all the profiles in Polish.
In all, it is looking to be an interesting series. You can count on others to come covering the more important WWII types.
