Notes: DVD

Fast earning a reputation for high quality aviation DVDs, Rocket.Aero has released a new title covering the FJ Fury series of Naval Fighters. Developed from the USAF's F-86 Sabre, the Fury went from a Sabre look-alike to a wholly different fleet defense fighter and later fighter-bomber, equipping a large number of Navy and Marine squadrons during the late 1950s.

Rocket.Aero has scoured the archives for original films that feature the Fury and has come up with ones on FJ-2 procedures, FJ-2 carrier ops on the Hancock, FJ-3 ops at Barbers Pt, FJ-4 recognition and FJ-4 weapons testing, including special stores.

In addition, there is a modeler's notes audio track and over 90 still images of the Fury. As a bonus, there is a most interesting film on the development and construction of North American Aviation's high speed wind tunnel.

Overall, this is an outstanding DVD. It has very good repeat watching value and is something I most highly recommend.
