Notes: CD-ROM, Catalogue # 1006

Next in Aero Research's CD catalogue is this one on the F-105Thunderchief. All of the different variants are included in this photo CD. There are 151 large photos compiling 355 Megabytes of information.

The images are arranged by wing starting with the 4th TFW and ending with some miscellaneous units that include the JF-105s. There are a variety of types including the F-105B/D/F/G variants in both the regular USAF, ANG, and Reserves. This covers all the camouflage schemes from unpainted metal to aluminum lacquer to the SEA scheme and some unique ones developed by the 466 TFS.

The vast majority of the images are post-Vietnam era and each image has as much information about the photo as is available and shown whenever an image is brought up. A very useful tool for historians. The image quality varies like the sources, but the vast majority of them are very good to excellent.

This is a CD that no F-105 fan should be without.
