I go into what's in this collection, a note from Aero Research:
"Customers who have been ordering CD's will now receive their
collections with the same level of quality, but with a 40% reduction in cost and
the elimination of shipping costs (which may increase by as much as 30% later
this year) and postal delays. Those who have been ordering the PDF files by
email will now benefit by receiving just one email, and will notice a major
increase in photo resolution that was not possible with the old PDF-by-email
system.
" Beginning with this release all photo collections (including all
earlier releases) will be delivered as downloads via the We Transfer file
transfer service. When your order is received the entire high-definition photo
file will be sent - you will receive a notice from We Transfer with a download
code, and you will have several days to download the complete photo file
directly to your own computer. Customers who order by mail will have their file
transmitted upon receipt of their order. Please note that you do NOT have to
register with We Transfer to receive your files.
I can verify that this system works quite well and
it is nice to get full size images rather than the smaller ones previously
provided via e-mail. I think that this is a big plus for everyone involved. This
is especially a plus for those overseas as they won't have to pay the often
ridiculous shipping and tariff charges.
This particuilar
edition provides the full range of F-100s from the earlier silver to the
later camouflaged aircraft as was the norm with those in the National Guard and
as drones. Earlier images are well chosen and some of these are in black and
white. As in all their offerings, you get over 150 images with each image having
as much info as available including place and date of the image. A great
addition to a very nicely done collection.
