This latest CD from Aero Research is a special release to cover the  Douglas Liftmaster. Known as the DC-6 or C-118, the type served many airlines and military services. Those that were retired from airline service were easily converted into a cargo transport, operating out of airports and airstrips around the world. Even today, of the 704 built between 1946 and 1958, 47 are still air worthy.

This disc has a superb selection of images of the type in both civilian and military service around the world. There are a fair number of black and white images in this batch as you'd expect from some of the vintage images. All images provide as much information as is known. As in all their offerings, you get over 150 images. I have reviewed the Pdf version, and while the images are not as large as on the CD, it is a good trade off as no shipping is involved.

In all, it makes for a great photo compilation on an interesting type.
