This latest CD from Aero Research is a special release to cover one of the best known US prop driven fighters, the Mustang. Now you'd expect the 191 images in this disc to be warbirds. However, though those are in here, there are a lot more than that.

You get civilian scheme planes, some operational military images, as well as air racers. What's more, a goodly number of the images are in black and white. All of the military images are post war so you will find not only ANG shots, but keep in mind that the US Army operated the type well into the 1960s for special purposes and those are also included.

Each image is large and is listed by type then serial number or registration number. The location and date, if known, are also included on the image's data. Not unusually, quite a few are Australian registrations with a few Canadians in the mix as well. Well worth picking up.

In all, it makes for a great photo reference on the type and should inspire some interesting schemes for those who like to model this aircraft.
