This latest CD from Aero Research is their third that covers the DC-3/C-47 Gooney Bird. Like the earlier releases there are a lot of nice images (152 if you wish to be specific). what makes this one unique among all the releases from Aero Research is that every image is in black and white. We tend to thing that photographers always used color film and that is not the case. The vast majority of these images are from the 1960s with some back to the 40s.

These are all civil registered aircraft without any being military planes. There is a nice selection with most being airliners with a few privately owned aircraft and even a few freshly purchased from the military. A couple look like they've seen better days and some are non-US registered aircraft.

Each of the images is categorized by type and include registration numbers and, if known, the place and date of the image.  This is the digital copy. AR is slowly putting its earlier CDs into digital format so check with them to see what's been done if you prefer this format.
