Notes: Pdf, Catalogue # 1125. CD Available

This latest offering is the eight that covers the Grumman A-6 Intruder/Prowler. Originally developed as a carrier borne medium attack aircraft, the type morphed into the Navy's primary electronic jamming platform, taking over from the EKA-3B and was the last A-6 variant to see service. Its place has since been taken by the EA-18G Growler, a variant of the Super Hornet.

As is the norm, the set is arranged by unit, covering the A-6, KA-6, and EA-6 variants. All of the squadrons that operated the type, including test and evaluation units are covered. So are the full range of camouflage and markings schemes, though not all schemes are covered with all squadrons. As usual you get over 150 images with as much information as is known provided with each image.

This is the Pdf, which means it comes as two e-mails and saves on the shipping, which is quite a bit if one lives outside the US. A CD is available if you want it and the CD does provide larger images. This is a great offering for the enthusiast and modeler alike.
