Aero Research's most recent offering is this one that covers museum and display aircraft. These run the gamut from those on poles to those kept in museums. As you can imagine, those outside are in a variety of conditions from pretty ratty to pristine. Some of them probably have multiple layers of paint on them as some pole planes get repainted once they start looking rather nasty. The subjects are not just US but planes from around the world where the old warriors are displayed. 

This offering provides over the usual 150 images with as much information as is known provided with the image. This is the Pdf, which means it comes as two e-mails and saves on the shipping, which is quite a bit if one lives outside the US. A CD is available if you want it. This is a great offering and you may even see some aircraft that are on display near where you live.
