When the Me-262 was being designed, there were a number of alternatives proposed all relying on the basic Me-262 airframe. Revell Germany released two kits, the P.1099 in 1996 and the P.1099B/I in 1998. These are heavy fighters with the Me-262A's wings and tail section but with greatly enlarged fuselages.

The kit is in typical Revell Germany medium grey. It is finely molded and completely flash free. There are a couple of sink marks in the bulkhead section where the plastic is quite thick
