Top Notch TNM48-M70: Defiant I Pattern A  Camouflage Masks

An accessory that has been growing in popularity over the years are vinyl mask sets. Mostly they were used for canopy masks and have become very popular. Another use for these have been for camouflage masks.

This Top Notch set is for the Defiant I. It is for Pattern A, which was used on aircraft with even serial numbers. A B patter is also available. This is in 1/48 scale and they offer the set for 1/72 modelers as well. Included in the set is a mask for the underside of the aircraft. You paint the lower shades, apply the lower masks then apply the dark earth. Once that is dry, the masks are applied and the dark green is painted. Also included are wheel hub masks.  The set includes two sheets and I've not shown them as they will simply look like grey-green rectangles.
