Noy's Miniatures 1/144 Large Tarmac and Taxiway

Next in their line of superb photo quality tarmac prints is this very large one for 1/144 scale modelers. This is not based on any particular tarmac and so its generic nature makes it quite useful for any aircraft from pre-WWII to the present as not all tarmacs are painted with lines and such.

There are a number of different hues for the concrete sections and the edges are all nicely shaded as well. There is a large section that can be left as is for a taxiway or covered in sand or grass, however one sees fit.

I've included some images of various 1/144 aircraft on this base. One is the Anigrand 1/144 XB-19 which is about as large as you can get without plane parts being far over the edges. The M-50 Bounder fits perfectly and on this tarmac section, the somewhat large LS 1/144 SR-71A has tons of room so you could put a number of smaller fighters on this one.

The base is 39 x 28 cm or about 15.35 x 11 inches. I wasn't able to find a frame around the house for this one, but there are plenty of frames that can be built from specific length frame sides that will fit this one.

These are quite reasonably priced. Prices do not include shipping. Payment through paypal. You can contact them via e-mail at which time shipping information will be provided.
