Kit Masx KM-001v: Start Trek Galileo 7 Shuttlecraft

This set from Kit Masx is a paint mask set for the venerable AMT Star Trek Galileo Shuttlecraft. This is a set of vinyl masks, which seem to work well for paint masks. It is also available in kabuki tape.

Though no placement guide is provided, there really is no need for one as these are to replace the by now unusable decals that come in the kit.

For those who have never used paint masks, these are not difficult to use. There are two ways to use these. One is to prepaint the area, place the mask over that area, and to leave the lettering or design in place while painting over it with the base color.

The other, and probably easier for most, is to place the mask with the design/lettering removed and then add the appropriate paint.
