Kit Masx 72-279M-4T: 24" RAF code letters

This set from Kit Masx is another of their nice paint masks, this time for RAF code letters.

The set includes six sets of letters in 24" height, which was a very common size for a variety of aircraft. These are very easy to use. Two methods. One is to paint the code color on the aircraft, remove the square that includes that letter, use the marking strip to get your distance between letters right, remove everything but the letter, and then paint the fuselage as normal. The other is to set everything up, add more masking around the code area, then paint the letter color. It is not as difficult as it sounds and after doing one you'll be a pro.

There are no painting instructions, but really, if you are at the point that you are using these, none is needed. If you need a refresher, instructions are available at the Kit Masx web site. This set is Tamiya tape, but vinyl is also available. This set is also available in 1/48 and 1/32 scale. Also available are other sized and numbers.
