Kit Masx 32-034MT: BV-40 Markings Masks

This set from Kit Masx is another of their nice paint masks, this time for the Planet Models 1/32 BV-40 Combat Glider. Unlike many of the fairly far-fetched designs that never make it past the drawing board, this aircraft actually was rather fully tested. In the end, it was determined that it was simply not practical as the airframe was basically a 'one pass wonder' and its need to be towed into position did not provide a good future for the aircraft or the tow plane. 

What you get with this one are all the stencils needed to duplicate the code letters and insignia for one aircraft. The instructions provide you with a sequence of application and if you are new to this sort of thing, there are links provided where you can go on-line to learn more about it. I am seeing more and more models using this sort of format and it directly deals with any issues with decal film and damage to the decals since the markings are paint.  This set is Tamiya tape, but vinyl is also available. This set may also be available in 1/48 and 1/72 scale. If not, just ask.
