DAN Models DM144109: B.737-800

Generally, when I build an airliner model, I like to have a slick fuselage side and use decals for both cabin and cockpit windows. When the kit I'm using has openings for windows, this generally takes multiple sessions of sanding and filling to smooth things out and there are times when I simply don't want to spend the time and effort doing that.

However, it can be a royal pain to cut masks for all those windows and so using something like these masks from DAN Models can be a real time-saver. This set is for the Zvezda B.737-800, but can also be used on their earlier -700 kit as the major difference between it and the 0800 is fewer windows. The set does come with instructions and basically tells you to mask the windows prior to installing them, ensuring that the window surround is painted the same color as the interior of the fuselage. The set also comes with masks for the landing lights.

I've not used these before so am not sure if they are tape or vinyl, but judging by the white color, I'm going to assume they are a thin vinyl. Regardless of the material, these will be very useful.
