SET: | Flying Fish Models Saw Set |
KIT #: | FFM 9901 |
PRICE: | €12.95 from Flying Fish Models |
REVIEWER: | Scott Van Aken |
NOTES: | Stainless steel |
Something that modelers can
always use are fine saws. These have a number of uses from replacing engraved
detail to cutting parts from sprues to removing control surfaces on aircraft
models. This particular set has four very different shapes and all are quite
thin (0.1mm according to the packet), making them perfect for doing fine detail
work. The rectangular saw has a coarser set of teeth along one edge for heavy
duty work, such as removing resin parts from their pour stubs.
I've provided a close-up of the teeth to the right. I use fine saws all the time and I'm sure you will find this set to be a great addition to your modeling bench.
