Zotz decals has released a new sheet for the P-47N that takes care of the decal problem with the new Trumpeter kit.  Decals are provided for three P-47Ns.  One is the well-known “Short Snorter/2 Big and 2 Heavy,” which can be done as “Short Snorter” in markings of the 33^rd FS, 318^th FG before June 25, 1945, or the more famous “Short Snorter/2 Big and 2 Heavy” with the black and yellow “zebra stripe” tail markings after June 25.  The other two are “Chatauqua” from the 483^rd FS 507^th FG, and “Icky and Me” from the 333^rd FS 318^th FG in early August 1945.  A modeler might choose to use the “nekkid wimmen” from the Trumpeter  kit sheet if doing “short Snorter/2 Big and 2 Heavy”.
