Hi, I’m Tony Hodun, and this is one of five tables of Hasegawa 1/48 kit listings I’ve developed to aid you as a modeler or collector in finding the right kit to build the version you want, to fill the gaps in your collection, or to find the parts you need. This page covers Jet Aircraft and Helicopters, Part 2, and covers all older and a few newer US jets, JASDF jets, helicopters, business jets, and weapons/figure sets. See the U.S./British WW II Aircraft Page for a more complete explanation of these tables. If you have input, please contact me at hodunmisinec@cinci.rr.com . Enjoy, and happy modeling/collecting!
Note: These tables are based on the actual parts in the kit, not the instructions sheets! Hasegawa sometimes includes older instructions in newer kit boxings, but newer revisions of parts trees, so the two don’t always match!
Note: The starred tree letters (e.g. D*) are my own way of differentiating between trees where Hasegawa re-uses the same letter for two different sets of parts, modifies or updates parts, or adds/deletes an optional part; the star will not be found on the actual parts tree. The lower case tree letters (e.g., the different A-4 or F-104 fuselage trees) typically have an extra tab with the subletter on the parts tree.
I want to especially thank David W. Aungst for his awesome contributions, as he willingly took the time to provide a huge amount of the data below, including much of the original parts tree information. He paved the way for me and for others to build on this table, so thank him if you were helped by this table.
Another huge contributor I want to especially thank is Greg Feiser; his web pages on the F-16 include detailed information on the F-16 Fighting Falcon and on scale models in every scale, and his Hasegawa 1/48 pages provided much additional information for the improved F-16 kits section of my tables! You can also use his notes to modify and correct these kits to build more accurate F-16 versions. Check out his site at: http://www.habu2.net/vipers
My thanks to my repeat contributors James Arguello, Christian Blachford, Stefan Buysse, Jason Cheah, Jim Dick, Julien Dixon, Björn Dol, Mike Franklin, David Garrington, Carsten Götze, John Macklin, Andy Mullen, Ken Pawlowski, Rafael Rodriguez, Greg Scoumis, Marko Trnski, Mike Vorrasi, Martin van Wyk, and Ron Young, and also to Jose Barata, Andreas Beck, Jim Bonanni, Neils Christian Boman, Thomas Brown, Hans Datema, Fernando Jose Diaz de Sousa, Chris Kerns, Ray Lloyd, Marc de Niverville, Jim Obermeyer, Bosse Persson, Ray (no last name provided), Rafael Rodriguez, Juan Carlos Alberto Gomez y Sarzotti, Kevin Seniuk, John Smith, Kevin Smythers, Dan Suria, Joe Taylor, Scott Van Aken, and Woody Yeung for their helpful input!
NOTE: April 2007 - From this point on the tables are fully current. Bold typeface means the data is a new entry since the previous update.

In addition to parts for A-4E/F with or without avionics hump, also include other parts to do A-4E or F in almost any configuration except A-4F ‘Super Fox’, also can build RAN A-4G, early Israeli A-4H or early RNZAF A-4K. 09441 A-4K is the basic A-4E/F which includes 5 required metal antennae. 09660 starts as an A-4E/F but substitutes the larger intakes of the A-4 ‘Super Fox’. 09648 is similar to 09660 and includes a resin left wing-root mounted boarding step.
09426 includes modified fuselage and parts to do the A-4B. 07222, 09496, and 09513 include modified fuselage and parts to do the A-4C or A-4L. 09456 and 09735 A-4SU kits are based on 07222 A-4C and include appropriate resin details. 09554 is based on 07222 A-4C, also includes the A-4B nose and resin parts to build an Argentine A-4B or A-4C.
07233, 09710, and identical 09752 build a basic A-4M Skyhawk; 09611 also includes later main struts and gear doors. Similar 09575 includes added parts to also build an A-4N. 09595 and 09729 have the same plastic as the A-4N, but lack the metal 30 mm cannon.
