Ultracast has been on a program of supplying resin bits for the ICM 1/48 Spitfire kit. The newest are a set of elevators. All Spit freaks know that the elevators on the Spitfire are usually at the full down position when the aircraft is on the ground. Most models do not allow one to portray this as the elevators are usually fixed in the straight and level position. Unless doing a model straight out of the box, this aspect of the Spit should be modeled.

Ultracast has now released two different sets of elevators specifically for the ICM kit so that you can properly portray your Spit IX. They are, from left to right: 

• #48062: Early Style Elevators
• #48063: Later Style Elevators

As with other Ultracast products, they are first-rate and free from all defects. Though designed for the Spit IX, I can see no reason why they couldn't be used on other 1/48 Spit kits.
