This is a set
of clear parts to allow the builder to have the appropriate bits to do a Halifax
GR.II using the Revell/Matchbox kit. The set includes clear nose cone, canopy
and what looks like a bit for the rear of the aircraft. Now I'm sure this will
require a bit of additional work to the nose and rear of the aircraft to
incorporate these parts, but it must not be very difficult as Pavla has not
included any instructions. The parts have several positive attributes. One is
that the plastic is fairly thick so on problems finding a suitable mating
surface; always a problem I have with those ultra-thin vac bits. The other is
that the framelines are clearly delineated and so no guessing as to where to put
the masking. The parts are quite clear, making it easy to see any additional
work you've done on the interior.
