One may wonder why do a weapons set for a midget sub, and a Pavla kit at that. Why not just include it in the kit. Well, from what I've read, many of the X-Craft missions were not to drop these Amatol filled weapons pods, but were for other stealthy operations. This includes reconnaissance of the D-Day beaches and other pre-assault missions.

So rather than increase the cost of the kit by including something that may not be used, it just made more sense to have these available separately. The resin is superbly done as you've come to expect from Pavla. They are keyed left and right. This information and which side is forward is prominently engraved inside each pod. The set is a simple addition and the main kit's instructions indicate where they are to be placed.

If you want to do some of the Tirpiz operation X-craft, then you'll want to add these to your sub order.
