Continuing with
the goodies for the S-3 Viking, this set is a complete set of control surfaces
for the Hasegawa kit. It includes full flaps, a set of ailerons, elevators and a
rudder. All of the flight surfaces are molded at pretty near full deflection
with the trim tabs angled opposite the direction of deflection as was the norm.
The horizontal stabs are molded with the elevators and include the mounting tab.
A nice touch. The molding on this set is superb and it should be a simple matter
to cut away the kit surfaces and replace them. One will have to pay special
attention to the flaps as they did angle back and down so the area under the
wing will need to be properly filled and shaped.
