This
particular cockpit set is for the recent Revell 1/72 kit. The set contains a
complete pair of cockpits for the twin seat Typhoon/Eurofighter. There are two
full cockpit tubs, two seats with harnesses molded on, a pair of instrument
panels, two consoles, rudder pedals, control sticks and a new aft bulkhead. The
set also comes with a very nicely molded vacuformed canopy. This canopy is not
only quite clear, but is also molded from somewhat thick plastic so that it is
easier to mount. Somewhere between molding and my opening the package one of the
control sticks disappeared. While I don't have the kit, I will suppose that one
could use the kit offering in place of the missing stick. The set includes
complete construction and painting information, including what needs to be
modified to get things to fit.
Another superb set for those of us who like to build 1/72 and have been
frustrated by a lack of aftermarket in our favorite scale.
