It has been a bit over a year since Stephen Venters released their first pilot figure and this one is most welcome. The molding process has been improved and the level of detail in this figure is commensurately greater. The kit includes a separate torso and legs so that you can more precisely position the figure in your favorite model. There are several arm options in order to get just the pose you wish. Finally, there are four different head options two with and two without attached O2 masks and with the face shield up or down. A separate O2 mask and hose are supplied as well.

In addition you get a superbly done decal sheet that includes both aircraft and unit patches. A guide is provided in the instructions to help you determine what is what. You also get a full assembly and installation guide to help you get the figure into the correct position in the seat. As you might suspect, a bit of seat modification is required so that the figure doesn't look like it is 'floating' just above the seat!

An outstanding resin figure and one that will truly enhance your next big scale jet kit.
