MiniArt 1/35 Farm Cart
|REVIEWER:||Scott Van Aken|
|NOTES:||New mold kit|
MiniArt has been providing interesting diorama sections and accessories as well as nicely done model kits for several years. One area that hasn't been done by others have been carts. Previously they did a four wheel cart and that evolved into several different boxings, some including figures and horses to draw the car. I'm pretty sure we will see the same with this one.
The cart is molded on two sprues, so it is not really a very complex kit. Their usual fine quality molding is evident and while there isn't much else to say about it, I should mention that there is a step for the right side as well as a right side brace to keep the cart level. No harness or animals with this one, but I'm betting one will soon appear.
Instructions are printed on the back of the box and while there is little in the way of color information supplied, you can pretty well use the box art as a guide.
These carts were widely used in central and eastern Europe until these areas became overwhelmingly mechanized. They are still in use in some areas where animal power is in use. An interesting kit that can be built on its own or used in a diorama.
