|KIT:||ICM 1/48 RAF Pilots and Ground Personnel|
|REVIEWER:||Scott Van Aken|
|NOTES:||Seven Figures, a dog and some ground support gear|
This set is specifically for the RAF from 1939 to 1945 and includes a number of figures in various poses. There are four definite officer types in various poses, including one showing the results of an engagement, one hanging about with flying jacket over one shoulder, one on a knee (obviously to pet the dog figure or talk down to someone) and one female with a briefcase. There is a fully suited pilot figure in the process of climbing in, and two enlisted figures, one opening panels and the other carrying a fuel can.
Also as part of this set are some very handy pieces of ground support gear. A work table, oxygen or acetylene bottles, a tail stand, jerry can and ladder.
Molding on the pars is quite good with no flash and only a few pesky sink areas in the side of the dog and on the work table undersurface.
Kit instructions only show assembly of the support gear as they assume you can work out the figure assembly. Color information is provided with Humbrol references in the instructions and in the full color guide on the back of the box.
Overall, a very nice set for the folks who like to add some interest to their models.
