The third set for the Airfix Sunderland from White Ensign Models is a Depth Charge Bay set. Those of you who have built this kit as a youngster remember that one of the operating features of the kit are the depth charge racks that slide in and out of the fuselage. This set provides something to see on the inside of that cavernous space as well as two full sets of bomb racks. In going along with the usual White Ensign policy, one folds large pieces to make the bay rather than have to glue together several smaller bits. I for one appreciate that thoughtfulness and that makes this an eminently desirable set.
