W&D Studio 48004: IFR probe tip

The next stainless steel upgrade bit from W&D Studio is this in flight refueling probe tip. Those aircraft equipped with probe and drogue systems (such as used by the USN) will have a receiver probe that has a tip like this one. This is perfect for those kits that use this system as one simply removes the plastic tip, drills a hole to recieve this tip and glues it in place. For those wanting to do a custom installation, this tip can be attached to the appropriately shaped plastic rod or tubing.
