The Accurate Miniatures 1/48 P-51 B/C Mustang is a model that has had very little done for it in the way of aftermarket. Now Ultracast helps out with this set of exhaust. This is an unshrouded set. Often times maintenance personnel would leave off the shrouds after an engine change to speed things up. It did not seem to harm engine performance at all.
As usual, the casting is superb wit the exhaust ends hollowed out so you don't have to do it. This set is a simple replacement item. One simply paints them and then uses a hobby knife to remove them from the very thin pour stub.
