Next are another pair of seats for Japanese aircraft. This time it is for the A6M Zero. This is a design that did not change through the life of the series and another nice thing is that these seats are not kit specific. Means you can use them on anything in 1/48 scale from Otaki to Hasegawa to Tamiya and others.

There are two seats per pack and two different options. Seat 48184 provides bare seats without any harness in case you'd rather use aftermarket. Seat 48185 includes the harness in place. As you might know, Navy pilots did use a single shoulder harness, much as is in your car, as they felt the dual harness was too constricting, yet didn't like jamming their teeth into the gun sight on arrested landings so thought the harness was good in that way!

As with all Ultracast resin bits, the quality is the best there is and the molding is such that you need but a hobby knife to remove the part from the pour stubs.
