This upgrade piece replaces the upper cowling on the recent Eduard 1/48 Spitfire IX. Eduard molded this piece in two parts and this replacement eliminates the need to deal with the seam. Apparently there were two styles of upper cowling and this the bulged version.  As always, the part is easy to remove from the resin pour stub and the resin molding is flawless.
