Many of you know Terry Dean for his superb nose weights. Well, Terry does resin bits too and this is one of them. This set is B-29 bomb bay doors with air deflectors that go to the back of each door. These keep the bombs from 'hanging' in the bay once released. Thanks to the use of white resin, it is pretty much impossible to show any detail, but these doors have all the detail of the kit offerings.

Now you are probably wondering why you should bother with these. Well, the kit doors are only the outer part and have none of the correct inner detail. Each door has a door sized panel inside it that is not provided with the kit. These are direct replacements for the kit parts. Terry's resin work is quite good, but he admits that these will need a bit of clean up and perhaps some small air pocket repair work. I like that Terry has marked on the bottom of each pour stub what kit part number these doors replace.

It is a most useful upgrade set for those who really care bout having the most accurate B-29. These are, of course, for the Revell-Monogram 1/48 kit.
