Continuing with the ex-KMC sets is this one for the Hasegawa 1/48 F6F-3 Hellcat. As with most of these older sets, there are large resin plugs that need to be removed from the bottom of the cockpit tub and a few other parts prior to use.

The set itself includes a floor, rear bulkhead, radio section, seat, instrument panel, gun sight,  and small side console along with a few boxes that fit on the kit side panel. I'm not sure that this isn't good for at least early F6F-5s as I'm not positive there was that much difference between the two subtypes when it comes to the interior. I'm sure you could easily use it and few would be the wiser! I do like that the seats have belts molded into them, something that some of the newer resin sets do not offer.

I'm glad that True Details is reissuing these older KMC sets as they are a good value for the money.
