This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the brand new Revell 1/72 A400M. For those who are unfamiliar with the plane, it is a C-17 looking Airbus transport that is in between the C-130 and C-17 in size. I think that only two prototypes have flown, but 174 are on order for worldwide air forces.

As you can see, the landing gear is complex, consisting of three 'kneed' gear legs on each side. So you get a lot of parts for the main gear, including separate wheel brake parts. The nose gear has the leg, retraction strut and oleo scissors.These are direct replacements for the kit items. Some of the thin bits will need gentle straightening, but that is normal for the medium used.

The gear is quite sturdy and all one needs to do is clean up the mold seams, paint things and install them. As you can see from the image, the casting is first rate.
