This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the Academy 1/48 Hawker Hunter. This kit has also been released in an Italeri box. This kit is quite detailed with main landing gear legs, oleo scissors, retraction struts and what appears to be gear door struts. The nose gear is also included. As a real bonus, correct size tires/wheels are included in this set. One of the complaints about the Academy Hunter was its undersized wheels and now that is no longer an issue. These parts are direct replacements for the kit parts.

The gear is quite sturdy and all one needs to do is clean up the mold seams, paint things and install them. As you can see from the image, the casting is first rate.
