Still more jet goodies for you with this set from Scale Aircraft Conversions. It is designed for another older kit, but the only one in 1/48, the still nice Revell F-89 Scorpion. This is one that is also somewhat rare when it comes to seeing them at shows.  This one includes the two main landing gear struts and a new nose gear with oleo scissors molded in place. I'm assuming the large retraction strut is for the nose gear as there was only one in the set.

The gear is quite well cast and all one needs to do is clean up the mold seams, paint things and install them in place as they are direct replacements for the kit parts. It is not uncommon for cast metal bits to be a bit bent but some careful straightening out will bring them into line once again.
