This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the new Hobby Boss 1/48 IAR-80. Like many WWII fighters, it is a pretty simple set, consisting of two landing gear struts, their retraction gear and a new tail skid. Yep, this one did not have a tail wheel but used a skid. Nice thing about metal gear like this is that it is easy to install the wheels by simply bending back the fork, installing the wheel, and bending it back in place. These are nicely molded and are direct replacements for the kit parts.
