This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the new Airfix 1/48 Gnat T.1, a kit I have yet to see on these shores. This is a very easy to use set as the two main landing gear and the nose gear leg are all single moldings. The set is a direct replacement for the kit parts and is nicely molded as you can see. It is not uncommon for some of the thinner bits to become a bit bent in shipping, but these are easily corrected by the modeler. In fact, this ability to be 'tweaked' is one of the big benefits of metal landing gear, especially if you are like me and have trouble getting all the gear to align!
