This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the older Eduard 1/48 Fokker D.VII. The gear is pretty simple as landing gear sets go. There is the lower airfoil/axle, four separate struts to the fuselage and a tail skid. The smaller bits have been put into a metal sprue to protect them from damage during shipment. One simply cuts them away prior to clean up and use. While WWI gear are pretty flimsy during construction, once the cement sets, they are quite sturdy.
