It is difficult for manufacturers to get everything correct when designing a plastic model kit. Often the medium used is such that one has to gloss over details. Such is the case with engine exhaust, especially when it is small in the first place. Like a bang seat in a jet, nothing really helps the look of a piston engine aircraft as nice exhaust. This particular set is for the recent Eduard Bf-109 series. This states it is for the 109G, but I'll bet it works on the K as well if they decide to go with that one as well.
