Next in the latest line of Pavla replacement canopies is this one for the Hasegawa 1/72 B-47E Stratojet. A somewhat unusual choice, but those older Hasegawa kits are the ones in the greatest need for upgrade/replacement parts. This is a one-piece canopy and comes with a resin canopy extension assembly, something that is missing from the Hasegawa kit. For those who want to do an open canopy, a bit of additional work will be needed, but I should point out that this would only open so far and was more to allow cooling of a hot cockpit than the way to get in. Earlier B-47s had a sliding canopy so this set is for the later versions with a clamshell canopy. The set comes with complete instructions.

The vacuformed plastic is very nicely done and should make for a nice replacement for the kit part.
